This is what I have been giving lately for wedding gifts. I think the couple would love hanging it up somewhere in their new home. The back ground is not purple. That is just a paper behind it so you can see it. It is just see through, which I like because it will fit in any home. You will be able to see the wall color though wherever you hang it.
